Extractas Bioscience stands as a one of the leaders of Australian biotechnology, specialising in manufacturing and exporting natural plants and botanicals for medical purposes.

The goal of rebranding was to emphasise the company’s expertise in technology and the scientific process of extracting chemicals from natural sources while establishing trust within the industry.

Our inspiration stemmed from the extraction process itself, with a focus on shapes and movement to symbolise the intricate molecular interactions involved. The graphic dots represented the molecules themselves with gradietns and animation showing the process of pulling and pushing them apart.

Additionally, we drew inspiration from the lush landscape of Tasmania, where the company is based. Incorporating green tones and a simple flower icon, we aimed to create a visual connection between nature and technology, blending organic elements with clean lines and vibrant blues.

By incorporating elements inspired by both the extraction process and the company’s Tasmanian roots, we created a cohesive and visually compelling brand identity that resonated with stakeholders and customers alike as well as communicating the company’s core principles.
