Mercury Book Club

Mercury Book Club, a Sydney-based book subscription service, aims to revive the love of reading while advocating for mental health and education. Inspired by the Roman God Mercury, known for business, communication and intelligence, the brand seeks to embody these qualities in its visual identity.

Drawing from the mythology of Mercury, our design was guided by the idea of knowledge. We incorporated elements of Mercury’s wings to create a captivating visual that resonates with the essence of literature and learning.

Focused on simplicity, we crafted a unique lockup combining book pages with Mercury’s wings. Clean lines and a calming color palette were chosen to evoke a sense knowledge and curiosity, reflecting the brand’s mission in fostering a community of passionate readers and thinkers.
